Draft schedule of the conference week
ICCHP’02 offers the opportunity to organize special thematic sessions concentrating on very specific aspects of conference topics. This should help to present a more comprehensive view to these fields. Contributions will be integrated into the conference programme as well as into the proceedings in dedicated tracks.
Experts willing to organize and
chair a special session and to invite their own speaker group are invited to do
so. A small budget may be provided for this purpose and a special section of the
proceedings including an introduction by the chair will recognize these
contributions.
Special session such like these must be proposed and approved no later than December 15 2001. For more information please refer on the rules for thematic sessions at
The Conference will be concentrated on topics according to the range of submitted papers (8 pages), short papers (3 pages) and posters (2 pages) and in order to support an interdisciplinary discussion. The programme committee will group contributions into parallel tracks concentrating on thematic areas. A time slot of 20 to 40 (papers) or 5 to 10 minutes (short papers) will be provided for presentation and discussion of contributions. Posters will be presented in a special poster room and discussed in dedicated poster sessions.
The Conference and especially the Pre-Conference offers oportunities to run introductory seminars and tutorials lasting up to half a day. This should enable the presentation and discussion of research programs, scientific activities and practice in order to enable multifunctional and interdisciplinary discussions. Specialists are invited to organize and run workshops, tutorials and seminars.
Please note that these workshops, tutorials and seminare do not ask for a submission of abstracts of papers. Contributions will not be published in the conference proceedings.
