Book of Condolence for our former General Chair, Arthur I. Karshmer

With deep sympathy, we inform our ICCHP community that our former General Chair and ICCHP Roland Wagner Award Laureate 2014,
Arthur I. Karshmer passed away. We invite all colleagues and friends to express their condolence at
ICCHP website.

2. Keynotes

ICCHP 2016 is proud to announce the first outstanding keynote speaker:

3. STS

The concept of Special Thematic Sessions (STS) is provided to work towards excellence in AT Research and Development as sessions are more focused, readable and understandable.
27 STSs from Access to Mathematics and Science over Media Accessibility to Using Mobile Technologies in Educational Environments are already announced, so we encourage all authors and contributors to check the list of announced STS when submitting and choose an STS that fits the topics and contents of their paper!

4. Code for a Cause (C4C) - Project:Possibility SS12 event 2016

After four successful events at ICCHP 12/14 and AAATE 13/15, the Project:Possibility SS12 Coding Event for student software developer teams in AT and ICT will start over within the framework of ICCHP 2016. First introductory presentations for interested campuses are planned for December. Express your interest in bringing a student developer group to ICCHP and let them benefit from a unique chance!

5. ULD - Universal Learning Design 2016

The first ULD conference was held in 2011 in Brno, Czech Republic.
It showed the importance of targetting the attention of researchers and developers of technologies providing for people's special needs towards inclusive education.
Like in 2012 and 2014, there will be a close co-operation and a whole track dedicated to Universal Learning Design (ULD) at ICCHP 2016.
